DSDmotorwerks is the brainchild of Dave Dennett a most remarkable chap (you can almost see the brilliant ideas trying to get out when he’s at a dark race circuit, can’t you). Dave has worked on Porsches from the tender age of just 11 when he used to help out in his uncle’s garage. From then he went on to work on the cars full time buying his first Porsche, a 924 turbo when he was 19.
Dave ended up specialising in the automotive electrical side of things running DSD auto electrical, but Porsches were still his passion and rarely did a week go by when he wasn’t removing the engine or gearbox from some project or other. Eventually Dave decided enough was enough, the itch wasn`t going away and he decided to work full time looking after the love of his life.
Dave is also a keen competitor in the Porsche racing scene and has enjoyed considerable success racing a 924 in both the 924 championship as well as the Porsche Club speed championship where he took both class and overall honours in a car built entirely in house.
