We are happy to undertake all jobs from routine servicing to full vehicle restorations. 

For restorations we work closely with a specialised bodyshop. DSDmotorwerks strips and prepares the shell then sends it away for the specialist metalwork and painting work. During this time the mechanical components can be rebuilt or replaced as required and engine / gearboxes rebuilt in time for the return of the shell. DSDmotorwerks then re-fits the car and details as required.

Engine and gearbox rebuilds form the bulk of our work. We work closely with customers at all stages of a job and can detail engines to show standard during the re-build if required.

Race preparation includes pre or après event checks as well as on event support.

Routine servicing is charged at £40.00 per hour and we don`t just look at the 12 jobs on checklist. A service is a time to cast your eye over the car and nip any little problems in the bud before they grown into major disasters.

Twin spark engines - We have developed a programme to build twin spark engines as per Le Mans RSR and 917 period race cars. As part of an engine rebuild this adds approximately £3,000 to the cost and includes all machining and ignition hardware. We currently have a twin spark engine running in our lightweight 911 SC
