Porsche 928

In the late ’60s Porsche decided to branch out and build a GT touring car, which is where the 928 concept got born with designs started in 1971. Some of the thinking was apparently that the 911 was coming to the end of it’s useful life (how wrong they were). Powered by an unusual (for Porsche) water cooled 4.5 litre V8, sales were never what Porsche really wanted and the trusty 911 pushed through to remain the flagship model.

We like to be honest, like the 968, 928′s are not part of our core business. Partly because they are pretty rare compared to 911s. That said, it is still a Porsche and we certainly can work on them if you want the benefit of our marque expertise.
