Porsche 356 Service in Essex
With a total production run of over 75,000 cars between 1948 and 1965, it’s estimated that around half of the 356’s ever made still survive. There were three model variants (A, B and C), preceded by the ‘356’ variant with no model suffix. These are simply known as the ‘pre-A’ cars. Of these originals, there were just 7,627 until the ‘356A’ was introduced in 1955.
We’ve worked on many 356’s over the years and raced a few too, as you’ll see from various pictures scattered across the website. Our late (1954) ‘pre-A’ example has had a full nut and bolt restoration and we continue to maintain many UK 356s.
We hope this gives you a taste of our experience with 356s. Why not contact DSD Motorwerks in Essex to discuss how we might help restore or maintain yours to the ‘right’ standard.
